In the mid-Victorian era Halloween gatherings would celebrate the Harvest Season with mysteriously chilling activities. Séances to talk to the spirit world, and horror theater presentations of ghosts and goblins with Phantasmagoria Lantern Shows were popular in the 1800’s.

The Shadow Soiree on October 7 at the Pine Bush UFO & Paranormal Museum reimagines that time by blending modern tech with antique ghostly exhibitions.
Famed Paranormal Author, Linda Zimmerman lends narration to Hudson Valley ghost stories shown with a Phantasmagoria Magic Lantern performance with live music and is presented by Stephanie Smith from The Haunted Shanley Hotel.

Ron Yacovetti and Lourdes Gonzalez return for an encore presentation of his Digital Séance Initiative and gives Shadow Soiree guests the opportunity to communicate with the Other Side through his ITC technology.
Everyone is invited to be part of the experience by attending in 1800’s attire or Halloween formalwear to create a mystical evening like none other. Dressing up in your best Victorian-style garb is highly encouraged! Light refreshements wil be available, along with the change to win some paranormal prizes!

The Shadow Soiree begins at 7 p.m. at the Pine Bush Paranormal Museum, 86 Main Street. Admission is $36 per ticket. Visit pinebushmuseum.com to purchase tickets.
