On behalf of the Town of Highlands Ambulance Corps, we want to send a huge thank you to all the vendors, volunteers, and community members who came out to support our 33rd Annual Fall Foliage Festival!

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans for us this year, and the rain just wouldn’t let up. After putting so much time, effort, and love into planning this event, it was incredibly disappointing to have to shut down early. But at the end of the day, the safety of our vendors, volunteers, and community had to come first, and we made the decision we felt was best for everyone.

To all our vendors who braved the weather, set up their booths, and showed up ready to support us — thank you! We know how much time, money, and preparation goes into these events, and we don’t take that for granted. To everyone who came out, supported our fundraiser, volunteered their time, or simply stopped by to show their support, please know how much it means to us.

This festival is about so much more than one day. It’s about community, tradition, and the amazing people who continue to show up and support our ambulance corps year after year. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, the support and generosity we saw did not go unnoticed.

We also want to give a very special, heartfelt thank you to Bryanna Torino and Eileen Searles for the countless hours, hard work, and dedication they put into this festival all year long. So much of the planning happens behind the scenes, long before festival day arrives, and these two put so much of themselves into making this tradition happen. From the planning and organizing to all the little details that most people never see, their commitment to our ambulance corps and community is truly appreciated. We are so grateful for everything they do, not just for this festival, but throughout the year.

Although this year’s festival didn’t go exactly as we hoped, we are still incredibly thankful for everyone who played a part in making it happen.
Thank you for standing with us, supporting us, and being part of our event. We hope to see you all next year, with a little more sunshine and a lot less rain!
