The Ulster County Executive and Ulster County Legislature declare June as Pride Month in Ulster County.

“As we declare June as Pride Month in Ulster County, we are reminded of how far we’ve come and the work that still lies ahead in our journey toward equity and inclusion for all,” saidPeter Criswell, Chair of the Ulster County Legislature. “In Ulster County, we have made significant strides in advancing LGBTQ+ rights and ensuring that our community is a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

“Pride Month is not just a celebration, but a powerful statement of solidarity and an affirmation of every person’s right to live their lives with dignity and be their authentic selves, free from prejudice and discrimination,” said Ulster County Executive Jen Metzger.
