Mayor Joe D’Onofrio announced this week that he has Farmers Market coupon vouchers (a book of five $5 coupons - worth $25) available for local senior citizens at Village Hall.

The vouchers are from Orange County, and can be used at the weekly Farmers Market in Highland Falls. It’s held on Sundays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. They can also be used at other Orange County markets.

“There’s a simple form to fill out to receive one,” the mayor said this week, “and they are good through November 30.”

There is a limit of one coupon booklet per eligible senior. Coupons can also be picked up in Goshen on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 40 Matthews St., Suite 305.

D’Onofrio also said that he has two-pack COVID test kits available for any community member who wants or needs them. They’re also available at Village Hall, also from Orange County, and are good through March 13, 2025.

“COVID is still out there,” he said, “and it’s good to have a test or two on hand.”

Village Hall is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
