Walden’s 37th Annual Harvest Festival will feature the inaugural Walden Derby Pinewood Car Race on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at Walden’s Municipal Square.

The race begins at 11:30 a.m. with heats scheduled throughout the day at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. Each bracket will have one winner. Junior brackets for children 10 and under will take place at 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. The winners’ bracket, featuring prizes, will be held at 4:30 p.m.

Car kits are available for $10 and can be purchased at Music In the Grove every Wednesday at the Music in the Grove Series in Wooster Grove. Pre-assembled car kits will also be available to decorate at the Harvest Fest.
