Wallkill girls beaten on senior night

Emma DiLemme and Brianna Merrill each had two goals, but the Wallkill girls’ lacrosse team was defeated by Monroe-Woodbury, 14-8 on Friday on Senior Night at Wallkill High School.

Marlee McCullough, Jazmin Medina, Abigail Martin and Claire Lischinsky had a goal each. Medina and DiLemme each had an assist, and Neveah Jackson made 13 saves.

Colleen Gilligan led the Crusaders with five goals. Teresa Jacoby had three, while Madison Gollinger and Tais Padilla had two each. Kyra Gilligan and Reilly Groff each had a goal. Gollinger had two assists, while Groff and Padilla each had an assist. Alexandra Zeolla had 12 saves.

The Panthers used the night to honor their first senior class: Jazmin Medina, Grace Winchell, Paige Badner, Claire Lischinsky, Tristan Loupe, Madison Mckenna, Avery Orr, Mikayla Paribelli and Jillian Tucciarello.

Wallkill coach Frank Croce thanked them all for “the hard work and dedication you all brought to our program.”
