The Wallkill Central School District will conduct its annual Evacuation and Early Dismissal Plan test Thursday, Nov. 5.

The drill, required by law, will be conducted as part of an Ulster County-wide emergency preparedness exercise. The purpose is to test the district’s evacuation procedures under its Emergency Management/Disaster Preparedness Plan.

Students will be dismissed no more than 15 minutes earlier than their normal dismissal time. Parents and guardians are encouraged to make arrangements for children who may arrive home early and find no one there..
