Senior softball pitcher Karlee Weeden of Maybrook was named the SUNY Cortland Athletes of the Week for the week ending April 30
Karlee tossed a pair of shutouts in Cortland home victories. She threw a two-hitter with two strikeouts and one walk in a five-inning, 10-0 win over SUNYAC co-leader Buffalo State on Thursday, and on Friday she recorded a five-hitter with three strikeouts and no walks in a 5-0 victory versus Fredonia.
