Arcady S Reynolds Jr (Sonny), age 79, passed away peacefully, August 8, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, faith, and love. Born and raised in Montgomery, NY. Arcady spent his early years working on his family dairy farm, where he learned the values of perseverance and commitment. He became a truck driver, a career he pursued for over 42 years, driving over 5 million miles, always providing for his family with unwavering determination.

Arcady was a devoted Christian, whose faith was the guiding force in his life. He found strength and solace in his relationship with God. Arcady believed that anything was possible through hard work, faith, and the love he had for his family. His life was a testament to this belief, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him. Though he has left us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of his loved ones, who will forever be grateful for the example he set and the love he gave so freely.

Family was the cornerstone of Arcady’s life. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Bonnie Reynolds. Survivors of his family include his daughter Janice Williams and her husband, Mark Williams, of Montgomery. Son Arcady Reynolds III and his companion Keesha of Middletown. His eight grandchildren who he devoted most of his time and love to include, Brittany Terwilleger, Paul Terwilleger, Parker Williams, Hunter Williams, Mark Williams, Katrina Williams, Abigail Williams, Aimie Porteous Reynolds; and 8 Great Grand Children. One sister, Barbara Reynolds of Indiana, several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother and father, Marguerite and Arcady Reynolds sr, and brother, Charles Reynolds.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at The Mountain View United Methodist Church, Walker Valley.12588. Burial was at Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.

Arcady (Sonny), will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue through the generations of his family who carry forward the values he held dearly.
