Barbara Lou Wegeman, age 86 of Walden, and formerly of California, passed away peacefully at home on May 6, 2020.
The daughter of the late James Rannel and Lucille Spear Warren, she was born on March 19, 1934 in Kansas City, MO. Barbara was married to the late Lawrence G. Wegeman.
In her early years, Barbara worked as a commercial actress and model in Hollywood, CA. She then spent her life devoted to Christianity. She was a Christian singer and recording artist, travelling the U.S. and Europe with her husband, singing songs of patriotism and faith. She impacted the lives of many people with her love of Christ, her kindness, positive spirit and infectious personality. She made a new acquaintance feel like an old friend.
Survivors include her daughters, Erica Gil of Las Vegas, NV, Kirsten J. Economy and her husband, Joshua, of Walden, NY, and seven grandchildren: Madison, Justin, Alexa, Ryan, Grace, Fiona, and Eve.
Cremation was held privately. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara’s memory to Goodwill Church in Montgomery.
