A bowling fundraiser to support the Coldenham Firehouse will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at Pat Tarsio Lanes, Route 52, Newburgh.

The event will feature unlimited bowling for $15 per person, including shoe rental. There also will be a 50/50 raffle, other raffles and door prizes.

All proceeds will benefit the Coldenham Firehouse, which is rebuilding after a structural fire severely damaged the firehouse and destroyed most of its equipment July 28.

Fire district officials expect the rebuilding effort to take 12 to 18 months and include construction of a new firehouse and replacement of lost vehicles and equipment.
