Nathaniel Diemoz won the boys’ race with a time of 16:41.26, leading the Wallkill Panthers to a first-place finish in a three-way Mid Hudson Athletic League cross-country meet with the Pine Plains Bombers and the Dover Dragons on Wednesday at Wallkill High School.

Mario Verruto finished second for the Panthers with a time of 17:00.23.

Daniel McPherson was the top finisher for Pine Plains with a time of 17:22.51 to take third. Caden Green finished 11th in 20:23.54 to lead the Dragons.

Wallkill’s Ryder Kilpatrick and Josh Craypo were fourth and fifth with respective times of 17:24.24 and 18:39.17. Luke Fragetta finished seventh in 19:08.26.

Caitlyn Murphy won the girls’ race with a time of 18:23.91 and Pine Plains’ Violet Bill finished second in 20:17.57 and Abigail Andersen led Dover with a fourth-place finish in 24:32.71.

Wallkill’s Maria Morales was third in 23:2038 and Rachel Sokota and Elizabeth Monson were fifth and sixth respectively with times of 25:58.47 and 27:36.15. Mikayla D’Amico was eighth in 28:18.55.
