Edward S. Kellogg, formerly of Walden, NY passed away on July 25 2026 in Bluffton, South Carolina. He was 86. The son of Gordon and Helen Truback Kellogg, he was born on September 22, 1939 in Owego, NY. Ed is reunited with his wife of 61 years Cheryl P. Kellogg. He was a retired Executive of IBM in Fishkill, NY.
He is survived by his daughter, Kecia DeGroodt and husband Robert of Walden, NY; grandson, Nicholas DeGroodt of Walden, NY; grandaughters, Victoria DeGroodt and wife Priscilla DeGroodt of Bluffton, South Carolina; great granddaughters, Carolina Scorr and Aubrey Robic of Bluffton, South Carolina; sister, Donna Cooper of Owego, NY; nephews, Michael Cooper, Gregory Cooper, Valerie Bernardini, Kady Kellogg, Donald Perkins, Enoch Perkins, Daniel Perkins and Eric Perkins.
Ed was predeceased by his parents; brother, Robert Kellogg; son, Brent Kellogg; brothers in law, James Cooper and Lloyd Perkins; nephew, Robbie Kellogg and niece, Kelly Perkins.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. He will be dearly missed by them all. He was a friendly, kind, compassionate man with a fun sense of humor who loved conversation with anyone.
Ed was very fond of the childhood paper route he started at 8 years old, his high school basketball team and his first car which was a 1957 Chevy. He was a proud US Army Veteran, college graduate and Executive IBM Retiree. #1 Yankee Fan and a lover of animals.

A celebration of life with ashes will be held on September 20, 2026 from 2-4 PM at the Nu-Cavu 857 Plains Rd. Wallkill, NY 12589
