Helen M. Leary of Wallkill, a longtime resident of the area, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in Kingston, NY. She was 80.
The daughter of the late George Edward and Ruth Anna (Grief) Coe, she was born December 29, 1942 in Nyack, NY.
Helen was a member of the Shawangunk Reformed Church, Wallkill.
Survivors include her husband Michael Leary, sister Carol Cotton, stepsons Scott Leary (and Tammy) and Michael A. Leary, nephews Chris Cotton and Mark Cotton (and his wife Laura), Grandson Zack Leary; Great Nephews & Nieces Mason, Connor, Amanda and Sarah Cotton and her church family
Visitation will be on Monday, May 15, 4-7 p.m at Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bonaventura Ave., Wallkill. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, May 16, at 11 a.m. at Shawangunk Reformed Church, 1166 Hoagerburgh Road, Wallkill
Burial will follow in Bruynswick Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Shawangunk Reformed Church.
