The Walden Fire Department swiftly responded to a reported kitchen fire on January 12 at 88 Round Hill Road.

Upon arrival, Fire Command took charge, noting an active kitchen fire and requesting support from Coldenham and Wallkill FD.

Firefighters utilized hand lines to knock down the flames and checked for any potential extensions. Town/Montgomery Police were present at the scene, with Deputy Fire Coordinator 36-12 overseeing operations.

Walden Command called for Orange County Fire Inspectors to investigate the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
