Lawrence J. Salavec, of Pine Bush, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. He was 83.
The son of the late Joseph and Helen Breza Salavec, he was born August 4, 1940, in New York, NY.
Lawrence worked as a state inspector for New York State. He served in the United States Coast Guard 1959-1963.
He was the widower of the late Emma Capuano Salavec.
Survivors include his son Russ Salavec (Lawree), son Chris Salavec (Della), grandson R.J. Salavec (Sydney), granddaughter Maddison Salavec, grandson Zach Deutsch, granddaughter Emma Deutsch, great grandchildren Russell and Olivia Salavec, sisters-in-law Jane Salavec and Rose Salavec, and many niece and nephews.
Along with his parents and wife he was predeceased by his daughter Larissa Salavec, brother Warren Salavec, brother Doug Salavec.
Cremation will take place privately. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
