Outlaw the sale of body armor

The Sunday morning news has mentioned that the Buffalo supermarket mass murderer was wearing body armor and that’s why he wasn’t stopped by being shot multiple times by the store’s armed security guard. However, the reporting of the tragic murders then turns to social media platforms, easy access to extreme weapons, the ideation of white supremacy and the possibility of copycat killers, but the body armor that allowed the Buffalo killer to murder the store’s security guard and continue his rampage has not been focused upon. There is absolutely no reason that the general public should be allowed to purchase body armor and the sale of it to people like the Buffalo killer can’t possibly be seen as being protected by the Second Amendment to the Constitution. America needs a quickly put in place ban on the sale of body armor to the general public.
