Last Wednesday was the mid point and also the high point of the week for the Wallkill Lacrosse team, which crushed Washingtonville 18-2 that day, a win sandwiched between two losses.
In Wednesday’s win, Wallkill goals were scored by Ritchie Martinez 4, Mat Shea 2, David Goll 2, Ty Crowley 2, Zach Maruca 2, Chad Castle, Colin McCartney, Austin Palen, Dominic Pelella, Robert James, Tyler Eisloeffel. Assists were recorded by Castle (4) Shea (3) Martinez, Crowley, Pelella, and James Albanese.
Dylan Jowell had 3 saves for the Panthers. Michael Locicero had 2. 
On Monday, May 24, the Panthers fell to Cornwall, 11-4 despite 21 saves for Jowell. Castle (2), Shea and Colin McCartney accounted for the Wallkill goals.
On Friday, Minisink Valley defeated Wallkill 10-6. Panther goals were scored by Castle (2), McCartney (2), David Goal and Matt Shea. Goll and Richie Martinez had assets for the Panthers, and Jowell had 10 saves.

The Panthers were 9-2 heading into this week.
