PB swimmers edge Wizards

The Pine Bush boys’ swimming and diving team won eight of 10 events as the Bushmen edged the Washingtonville Wizards, 94-89, on Wednesday at Pine Bush High School.

Tomek Oakes (200-yard individual medley, 100-yard freestyle) and Bryce Sloley (50-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly) each won two individual events for the Bushmen.

Kaeden Fisher (diving) and Liam Blackwell (100-yard backstroke) each picked up an individual win for the Bushmen. Pine Bush also won the 200-yard medley and freestyle relays.

Ryan Godfrey (200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle) won two events for the Wizards. Brian Hitnariansingh (100-yard breaststroke) also had a win for Washingtonville, which finished the meet with a win in the 400-yard freestyle.
