A “Pet Adoption Day” and “Pet Costume Parade” will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19, from noon to 3 p.m. at Tuthilltown Distillery, 14 Grist Mill Lane, Gardiner. The event, themed “No Tricks, Just Treats!” will feature adoptable pets and festive fun.

Whitecliffe Vineyards in Gardiner will host a “Pawstume Party” on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 2-4 p.m. Participants can enter their pets in a costume contest for a chance to win wine prizes. Entry is $20, which includes a glass of wine, or donations can be made to vote for a favorite.

Another “Kitten Café” will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at From Beyond Books, 65A Main St., Pine Bush.
