Morgan Duke Conservation Society has announced that a first-ever State Route 52 Walden Adopt-A-Highway Community Clean Up event will take place on October 9 at 12 p.m. and the meet up location will be at the Wallkill Cemetery parking lot, 1101 State Route 52, Walden. Morgan Duke Conservation Society will be providing the supplies, free water, and snacks.

Participants will start cleaning up alongside the road front of Dollar General Walden and all the way to Freedom Road Bible Church. NYSDOT Adopt-A-Highway program asks that participants must be 12 years and older to attend the event and participants 12-18 years old must be with their parents or guardian.

RSVP is required to determine how many supplies are needed for the event. An email will be sent to those who RSVP to sign a form from the NYSDOT and Morgan Duke Conservation Society and a safety checklist will be emailed.

Please RSVP at morganduke.ngo/rsvp, and questions can be sent to James Sullivan Jsullivan@morgandukecs.ngo.
