On October 17, The Village of Montgomery adorned Veterans Corner, located on Goodwill Road and Roosevelt Avenue, with new solar lights to keep the corner illuminated at night. The corner and its flags will now shine brightly all day long.
“My wife, Sue, was buying small little solar lights to try and light up the flags at night, but they weren’t working out so well, so the village board approved these beautiful lights, wrote Micheal Hembury, a village trustee. “Our village employee, Bill Corrigan, whose son is in the Navy, quickly went out and installed them so they would be up before Veterans Day,”
