The City of Newburgh is pleased to announce the beginning of its 2021 paving season.

The start of the 2021 paving season was underway Thursday, June 10. Over the course of the last weeks, DPW crews concluded milling the five streets as part of the first paving phase for 2021. Signs posted throughout neighborhoods where paving was undergoing; instructed residents of temporary parking regulations, which will remain in place until paving concludes.

Sections of roads scheduled for paving are Sherman Drive, Flemming Drive, Morningside Road, Pleasant Place, and Circle Drive. Visit the City of Newburgh webpage for a copy of the Five-Year Paving Plan.

The City successfully undertook two rounds of paving in 2020, despite initial delays due to COVID-19 restrictions. The City’s comprehensive paving plan accounts for resurfacing nearly 50 streets across the City per the 5-year paving plan unveiled in 2020.
