The New Windsor Democratic Committee endorsed the following candidates for the November 2, 2021 election: George Meyers, Supervisor, Michele Indzonka and Joseph Ammons , Town Board and Gail Fletcher as Receiver of Taxes. These qualified candidates offer experience, education, energy, and a commitment to excellence. This unique bipartisan blend of candidates presents a unity needed to solve the multitude of issues faced by the Town. This slate will also be listed on the ballot as members of the “United for NW” party.

According to New Windsor Democratic Chair, Bette Ann Yarus, “George Meyers and his team have the talent to achieve the desired results for the residents of New Windsor. The trust we have in George’s judgment and integrity is based upon his productive 2 years as Supervisor.”

Voters want unity in government. In New Windsor, the voters will have the ability to choose a trustworthy and united team who are in lockstep with George Meyers and his plans for the Town.

The New Windsor Democratic Committee also endorsed Neil Fernandez as a member of the Orange County Legislature representing the 15th District in the County which is primarily New Windsor. Neil brings a needed commitment to the role of Legislator. As a safety trouble shooter of mechanical equipment for a division of United Technologies, his 32-year career is an example of his problem solving, analytical ability and dedication. Neil was selected by New Windsor Police Chief Robert Doss to be a part of the New Windsor Police Department’s Review, Reform and Reinvention Panel. He also had an active role in the town’s Little League, was a coach and a Scoutmaster when his boys were active in school sports.
