Saint Augustine Church to Hold Bazaar and Food Truck Festival
Saint Augustine Catholic Church will host its Annual Bazaar and Food Truck Festival from Thursday, June 13, through Sunday, June 16, at its school grounds, 35 Phillips Ave., Highland.
The event will take place rain or shine on the following dates and times:
• Thursday, June 13: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
• Friday, June 14: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

• Saturday, June 15: 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
• Sunday, June 16: 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.

A variety of food trucks and local restaurants will offer a range of delicious foods, including Italian, Mexican, seafood, hamburgers, and more. DJ Tony Flash will provide music for all attendees. A dessert café will be set up in the school’s air-conditioned gymnasium, offering homemade treats and coffee for purchase. Inflatables will be available for children.

Special events include raw and steamed clams on Thursday and Saturday nights. On Thursday, Madeline’s Dance Center will perform a spectacular show. Friday night will feature karaoke and Pamper Me Bingo, with seats filling fast. New this year is an indoor Cornhole Tournament, beginning Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Cousins Maine Lobster will be present on Saturday and Sunday. Father’s Day will be celebrated on Sunday with the all-new Father’s Day Olympics at 3 p.m.

“We are excited to hold our Bazaar and Food Truck Festival again,” said Father John Lynch, pastor of Saint Augustine Church. “This event will provide much-needed funds for many of our church programs that support the community. I encourage everyone to come out and join in our celebration.”

A raffle drawing will take place on Sunday, June 16, at 6 p.m. The first prize is $2,000, with several other cash prizes. Tickets are $10 and can be obtained at the festival or by calling Carole at 845-235-4771.

Admission is free.

The thrift shop will be open every day, and food trucks and local restaurants will offer hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta, meatball subs, and nachos. The dessert café, cash raffle, and DJ Tony Flash will also be featured throughout the event.

Modena Fire Department to Host Chicken BBQ Dinner Fundraiser

The Modena Fire Department will host a Chicken BBQ Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, June 15, to support its operations. The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the fire station located at 1953 State Route 44-55 in Modena.

The $20 meal includes chicken, corn, potato, salad, and dessert. Meals are available for pick-up or delivery.

Pick your meal at Lloyd UMC
On June 15, you will have the choice of enjoying a Pulled Pork or Pulled Chicken dinner at the Lloyd United Methodist Church.

The meals prepared at the LUMC will include your preferred meat, plus baked beans, coleslaw and a roll.

You will also have to decide whether you wish to do a drive thru pick-up or eat at the limited number of tables in the church social hall. The meals will be available from 4 to 6 p.m. Tickets are $14 per dinner. Cash or check at pick-up.
