Beloved school custodian turns 80

Posted

Students, faculty, and staff at Marlboro Middle School celebrated the 80th birthday of beloved custodian Bobby Humphrey on May 14. Members of his Dukes family cheered, held up signs, and sang as he walked down the hall. It was a wonderful gift and a meaningful show of appreciation for a man who has worked at the middle school for more than 20 years.
In other news, the Marlboro High School Varsity Tennis team has shared the 2024 Mid-Hudson Athletic League Team Championship title with Oneonta, making them co-champions. Great job, Dukes!

Congratulations are also in order for the Marlboro High School Varsity Softball team, which won the Mid-Hudson Athletic League Championship on May 13.
Don’t miss the Marlboro Middle School Drama Club’s production of “Annie Jr.!” Performances will take place in the MMS auditorium on Friday, May 31, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, June 1, at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors and can be purchased in advance at marlmsdramaclub.booktix.com.
