Marlins win two in Greater Hudson League action

The Marlboro Marlins 12U posted two wins in Greater Hudson League play, beating both the Pine Bush Rebels White and the Naturals at Young’s Field in Milton.

The 9UMighty Marlins played one game and battled the Lewisboro Lightning to a 10-10 tie.

Lewisboro Lightning 10, Marlboro Mighty Marlins 10
The Marlboro Mighty Marlins scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, as they battled the Lewisboro Lightning to a tie on June 23 at Young’s Park in Milton.

The Mighty Marlins took a 4-1 lead after the first inning, but the Lightning scored two in the second and four more in the third to take an 8-4 lead. They tacked on two more in the top of the sixth.

Marlboro Marlins 10, Pine Bush Rebels White 0

The Marlboro Marlins scored six runs in the fourth inning to win a four-inning game on June 23 at Young’s Park in Milton.

The game was called due to the 10-run rule.
The Marlins scored one in the first inning, two in the second and one in the third before they erupted in the fourth.

12U Division 4
Marlboro Marlins 8, Naturals 7

The Naturals scored seven runs in the fourth inning, but the Marlboro Marlins came back for a walk-off win on Thursday at Young’s Field in Milton.

The Marlins answered the Naturals’ big inning with three runs in the bottom of the fourth and tied the game with four more in the fifth. They won the game on a walkoff single in the sixth inning.
