Stewarts to gain Highland Water District

At last week’s Lloyd Town Board meeting, CPL architecture presents a petition for an extension of the Highland Water District to serve the Stewart Shops development. The improvements, estimated to cost $29,512, will be constructed and paid for by the owner without any expense to the water district or taxpayers.

The public hearing was held on February 16, 2022, and the petition was approved, complying with the requirements of section 191 of town law. The extension, known as the Stewart Shops development extension of the Highland Water District, will be bounded by the areas specified in appendix A. The owner will pay for the costs of right-away construction, legal fees, and all other expenses.
