Swimming lessons available for Marlboro Elementary students

Swimming lessons are back for Marlboro Elementary School students. Students from kindergarten through grade 5 are taking weekly trips to the Marlboro High School pool for swimming lessons during their physical education classes. The lessons cover swim safety, water readiness, and fundamental skills such as blowing bubbles, bobbing, using a kickboard, and performing the back float. As students build confidence, they learn beginner aquatic techniques like the flutter kick and front and back crawl. The classes are taught by Marlboro PE teachers, with additional helpers in the pool to ensure high-quality instruction and safety.

Marlboro High School recently sponsored a student visit to Mount Saint Mary College and Western Connecticut University. The trip included campus tours and interactive sessions with admissions counselors, aiming to inspire college-bound students.
