On Monday, new cadets from the U.S. Military Academy Class of 2028 concluded their Cadet Basic Training with a 12-mile road march from Lake Frederick to West Point. Next, they’ll be officially accepted into the Corps of Cadets during the Acceptance Day parade scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 17.

The cadets will pass in review, displaying a banner featuring their newly created class motto for the first time in front of Quarters 100, the superintendent’s residence, at approximately 11 a.m. This event acknowledges the cadets’ successful completion of one of the most demanding challenges they will encounter during their 47-month cadet experience.

The Class of 2028 reported to West Point for Reception Day on July 1.
