56 kids plus 42 adults plus six or seven Cornwall Cleanup Crew members equals … a great day for the community! Cornwall Champions Club President Joe DeBold reports this week that on Saturday, Oct. 10, those 100+ people not only cleaned up several areas of the Cornwall area, but also raised nearly $2500 from sponsors to be split between the two groups.

“I am so incredibly proud our kids,” DeBold said. He offered special thanks to Home Depot for donating buckets and the Cornwall Cleanup Crew for partnering with the Champions Club for “an incredible day of service”. As well, he thanked the parents who not only brought their kids but also volunteered alongside them.

“And the best part? The kids had fun!” he said. Here, some of the Division 2 players (and siblings) near the CCMS fields.
