There’s a new location this year, but the Cornwall Color Bash promises to be just as much fun as the last two years! It’s a billed as a “larger-than-life party equipped with music, games, photo ops, vendors and a 1-mile Fun Run.”
It will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5, starting at 4:30 p.m. at Donahue Farm (42 Bayview Ave., Cornwall-on-Hudson). Immediately following the run, there will be a concert by the local band Frozen Peas and then, as the finale, a showing of Barbie the Movie on the big screen!
The last two Cornwall Color Bashes were held at Rings Pond in Cornwall. The event grew significantly last year and is expected to again draw a large crowd.
There will be food and drinks for purchase as a fundraiser for future local events. The Color Run is sponsored by the Town of Cornwall Recreation Department and hosted by the Cornwall-on-Hudson Special Events Committee (a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the community through a diverse range of inclusive events).
It’s free to participate in the run and movie, but if you want a t-shirt, they cost just under $15 for kids and just under $18 for adults.
You can sign up for the race, and order t-shirts at eventbrite.com/e/cornwall-color-bash-2024-tickets-1003090690257.
