The Cornwall Library has a full slate of health-related programs coming up, Program Director Brenda Goldfarb said this week. Here’s a rundown:

9/4/24, 1-2 p.m. - Medicare: Parts A,B,C,D & Updates: Compare plans and make sure you have the health and prescription drug coverage that fits your needs. This is a drop-in program, no registration is required. Program presented by Robert Quinlan, Quinlan Care, LLC.

9/17/24, 10 a.m. - Diabetes Prevention: Type 2 diabetes is preventable and with some lifestyle changes and hard work, you can stop diabetes in its tracks. Join MSLC as we go over how to prevent type 2 diabetes and what to do if you find out if you are prediabetic. Presented by Dorothea Lever, RN, PhD Certified Diabetes Educator. 10/7/24, 1-2:30 p.m. - Medicare: Parts A,B,C,D & What to know About Open Enrollment It’s time to compare plans and make sure you have the right health and prescription drug coverage. This is a drop-in program, no registration required. Program presented by Erinn Braun, Orange County Office of the Aging.

10/10/24, 10 a.m. - Wrist Injuries: Have you been experiencing pain or swelling in your wrist? Wrist injuries are often caused by falls or over use. Join us as we discuss wrist injuries such as wrist fractures and carpal tunnel syndrome. Register by calling 845-784-3626 or online at montefioreslc.org.
