Kevin J. Tenney, of Walden, passed away on April 17, 2023 at White Plains Hospital.  He was 52 years old.

Kevin was born August 12, 1970, in Newburgh, NY and was the son of Robert and Judith Tenney.

Kevin was enrolled in the Valley Central School District and was a sub-contractor for Super 8 Motels for many years.  He was a member of Most Precious Blood Church in Walden.  Kevin loved camping and being outdoors and was an avid gamer, movie buff and animal lover.  He had a small menagerie of chipmunks, squirrels, birds, and hummingbirds that would patiently wait for him to come out of the house daily to fill their feeders. Kevin loved with his whole heart and valued, treasured, and adored his family and close friends.  Kevin’s favorite nightly pastime was sitting outside by a fire at dusk with his beloved cat Butters by his side.  Kevin was a warrior in his fight to beat cancer and was his sister Stephanie’s best friend, strength, and guiding light.  Even in his darkest hours, Kevin remained optimistic and was fighting right up to the very end.  He was truly an inspiration to everyone and made such a huge impact on the lives of all those whoever had the pleasure of calling him family or friend.   Kevin will forever be remembered as a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend.
