The Cornwall Lions Club is thrilled to announce that its Annual Halloween Art Contest will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, inviting young artists from across the community to showcase their spooktacular creativity!

This beloved tradition is taking a playful twist this year: participants are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite costumes (but not required) while celebrating their artistic talents. Whether you’re a pirate with a paintbrush or a princess with a palette, everyone’s invited to make this year’s contest a frightfully fun community celebration.

Each year, the Cornwall Lions Club partners with local businesses to display Halloween-themed posters created by children from kindergarten through sixth grade. These whimsical and imaginative works transform the town into a gallery of spooky, silly, and spectacular art. Winners will be recognized during a special awards and dessert celebration, where they’ll receive cash prizes, a round of applause, and a chance to shine in front of proud families, friends, and community members.

“Nothing brings our community together like seeing the creativity and joy of our children on full display,” said a club representative. “Adding costumes this year makes it even more magical - and a little more boo-tiful!”

The Cornwall Lions Club, founded in 1932, proudly sponsors this event as part of its ongoing mission to support youth, build community, and foster civic pride through service and volunteerism.
