“I believe the children are our future,
Teach them well and let them lead the way.
Show them all the beauty they possess inside,
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier.
Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be.”

Whitney Houston,
“Greatest Love of All”

Hopefully, any butterflies students felt when they walked into school for the first time earlier this month, have flown away with the autumnal breezes.  And they have grown to appreciate their dedicated teachers, have reconnected with old BFFs, and have made new friends.  It’s time for them to use their curious and adventurous minds to take advantage of the myriad opportunities that await them, to explore, to discover, to hope, and to dream. The children of today are being challenged to fix a broken world.  United, they are blessed with the strength, morals, and integrity they have within them, to create a much better place to live.

UNICO held their 8th Annual Sal Cracchiolo Memorial Clambake Fundraiser hosted at Laborers Local 17. They send a HUGE thank you to all their dedicated members, generous sponsors, and loyal attendees who were able to enjoy this wonderful event. Newburgh Chapter of UNICO would not be possible without the continued support of our membership and community. Cheers to many more years of work with this incredible organization and the celebration of Italian heritage and culture. Happy early Columbus Day!
