Orange County’s Main Street bridge replacement project in Cornwall is moving along according to schedule, Supervisor Josh Wojehowski reported this week. The plan is to put new pilings (long, narrow posts placed into the ground to act as supports) in and then drop a precast bridge in place. Currently at work on the east-bound side of the road, if that is finished in time the other side may be able to be started this year, the supervisor added.
