Michael was born on May 4, 1958, in Providence, Rhode Island, and spent his early years in Connecticut. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics, and later earned his MBA from Iona College in New York.

Michael was the beloved son of the late Charlene (Schneider) and George Sloan of Connecticut. He is also survived by his step-grandchildren, Krysten, John and Kaitlyn, as well as cousins, a nephew and a niece.

Michael enjoyed playing golf and cooking, and he especially loved being involved with his grandson’s baseball. He treasured traveling with Lynn and his parents, particularly their vacations to Jekyll Island, Georgia, and the time they spent together at their lake house on Lake Champlain.

Michael retired from Chartwell Pharmaceuticals in Congers, New York, where he served as Production Supervisor.

Above all, Michael will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the many memories they created together. Words cannot express how deeply he will be missed.
