Richard (Rick) Osterhout, 79, a lifelong resident of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026.
He was predeceased by Karen, his wife of 54 years, just 11 months ago.
A counterman/salesman for Al's, Gavin, and A+F tire services, he could tell you absolutely anything about tires. He loved being outside and taking long walks in nature. The big brother of 3 siblings, he would take them on many adventures and play, play, play. Those memories will be forever cherished.
Survivors include his daughter Sheila and beloved dog Lexie, his sister Linda, brothers Louis (Diana) and Russell (Judy), brothers-in-law Greg (Karin) and Jeff Howe, along with many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the discretion of the family.
We especially thank Celeste, Kathleen, Mary, and Sarah of Hospice, an organization that helps all types of health care causes at the time of transition, for their kind and compassionate care.
