The Town of Shawangunk Democrats will be sponsoring an election information panel on Saturday, October 7 at 6 p.m. in the Shawangunk town hall. The panel will comprise several nonpartisan experts, including the League of Women Voters, an election inspector, the Shawangunk town clerk, the Ulster County Commissioners of Board of Elections, a youth engagement advocate, and Scott Minkoff of SUNY New Paltz.

During the evening, the panel will explain why voting matters, instruct them on everything residents need to know before voting, debunk myths, and provide other practical information. Light dinner will also be served.
