The Town of Newburgh will seek bids to replace the roof of the Chadwick Lake Water Filtration Plant.
The Town Board authorized the project to go out to bid during its Aug. 10 meeting. The project calls for removing the existing membrane roofing and insulation and installing approximately 8,000 square feet of new insulation and single-ply membrane roofing, along with new roof drains over the existing roof deck and flashing around existing roof penetrations.
Bid documents are scheduled to become available Aug. 18, with a pre-bid meeting Aug. 27 and bids scheduled to be opened Sept. 27.
