Meier re-elected Pine Bush school board president

The Pine Bush school board re-elected Gretchen Meier as president at its reorganizational meeting July 14.

The board also re-elected Kristi Kheiralla as vice president. Maria Wise, district clerk, swore in new board member Phillip Salinardi and alternate ex-officio student member, Xue Dan Lin.

Rachel Adelstein, assistant superintendent for Instruction, reported on revisions to the district’s Code of Conduct during a public hearing on the code.

The code holds students accountable for using Alternative Intelligence (AI) in a responsible manner. The code also addresses bullying and the dress code.
