Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler announced that on Thursday, July 18, Enoch Lowe, age 25, of the Town of Wallkill, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole following his conviction after a jury trial in the Orange County Court of all charges against him, including the crimes of Murder in the First Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Conspiracy in the Second Degree. Additionally, the Court imposed a sentence of one and one third to four years in prison on the Tampering with Physical Evidence charge and ordered that sentence to run consecutive to the sentence imposed on the Murder charge, thus constituting the maximum sentence permitted by law.
