Memorial Day Parade set for May 27

Memorial Day is approaching swiftly. The Annual Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for Monday, May 27. Participants should assemble at 8 a.m. at Crispell Middle School. The parade will commence at 9 a.m. and culminate at the Town Park with a service and dedication of the new memorial.

First Fridays have commenced, with the next one scheduled for Friday, June 7. Take a leisurely stroll down Main Street, peruse local businesses, and explore the vendors’ offerings.

UFO Day is set for Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wander along Main Street, visit the vendors’ stalls, explore the UFO museum, and catch sight of various UFO-themed creatures. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in costume for an otherworldly experience.

The Board of Education will convene on Tuesday, May 28, at 7 p.m. at Circleville Middle School, and on Tuesday, June 11, at 7 p.m. at Pine Bush High School.

The Pine Bush School District will observe Memorial Day closures on Friday, May 24, and Monday, May 27.

The Pine Bush School District will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

The final day of school is Wednesday, June 26, with graduation scheduled for Thursday, June 27, at 4 p.m., followed by the All Night Graduation Party starting at 10:30 p.m.

• “Borscht Belt Artifacts: Relics of the Catskill Resort Age” with Alex Prizgintas on May 29 at 6 p.m. Limited seating; please reserve your spot.
