Congratulations to the Class of 2024! Graduation will be held on Thursday, June 27 at 4 p.m., followed by the All-Night Graduation Party at 10:30 p.m.
Happy Fourth of July! Be careful with fireworks and enjoy the holiday.
First Fridays have begun. The next one will be held on Friday, July 5. Come stroll down Main Street, shop local businesses, and see the vendors that are set up.
The next Board of Education meetings will be held on Tuesday, June 25 at 7 p.m. at Circleville Middle School and Tuesday, July 9 at 7 p.m. at the District Office.
Looking to volunteer and be part of the community? Join the Pine Bush Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Meetings are held the second Monday of every month at 7 p.m. Stop by and join us. The Pine Bush Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps is in need of new members. If you can give a couple of hours or more a week, please call 744-5391. Your life might depend on them one day.
Library News: Here’s what’s coming to the library:
• Defensive driving class on Saturday, June 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. $30 for seniors 60+ and $40 for those under 60. Bring a lunch or snack to save time.
• Erie Railroad, Pine Bush Branch, Part 1 will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26. Come learn how the railroad served the surrounding communities back in the day.
• The summer reading program is getting ready for kickoff. In-person registration begins on June 17. There will be classes for children ages 3-5, K-2, and grades 3-5. Older children will have choices. Volunteers are helpful, too.
• Our games will continue throughout the summer. Pinochle on Mondays, Scrabble on Tuesdays, and Mahjong on Wednesdays, all at 10 a.m. We have knitting, crocheting, and needle punch all on Mondays at 1 p.m.
These programs are open to all newcomers. If you want to learn one, we have teachers here to help you get going.
