Hundreds of residents from North Orange County flocked to the Town of Wallkill Golf Course last Wednesday, July 3 under a unified interest: to celebrate Independence Day by throwing the town’s biggest party of the year.
At 6 p.m., residents parked at Circleville Middle School and rode school buses to the golf course. For the next few hours, attendees passed the time by preparing their seats, chowing down on food truck cuisine, and enjoying the golf course’s spacious fields. The real fun began at 9 p.m. with a drone show depicting several national symbols with twinkling lights. Halfway through, the fireworks took off and splashed the night sky with a beautiful, fiery array of colors, a culmination of the crowd’s passion for their country.
