Though the Newburgh Illuminated Festival has been cancelled, the city's east end will still host , multi-site series of block parties and cultural experiences this weekend.
“June 3rd in Newburgh” events rundown:
- Newburgh Brewing Company hosts 1st Annual Colden Street Festival – 12 – p.m. Tbrewery will host an outdoor beer garden with food trucks and live music all day, along with t-shirt making and a fitness class.
- Liberty Street Block Party - Intersection of Liberty & Ann Streets, 12 - 8 p.m. The City of Newburgh will close parts of Liberty and Ann Streets for craft food and beverages at our incredible restaurants; interactive art projects with Dia: Beacon & Storm King Art Center; a pop-up skate park; and live music all day.
- Spirits Lab “Keeping the Lights On” Party – 105 Ann Street, 12 - 9 p.m. Newburgh’s leading distiller has its tasting room open all day with food & live music.
- Newburgh Mercantile hosts “Art on the Block” – 75 Broadway, 2 p.m. Newburgh Mercantile hosts interactive art engagements with a paint and sip beginning at 2 p.m. Stop by Mama Roux at 96 Broadway for drinks and a bite.
- Newburgh Farmers Market at Safe Harbors Green - 97 Broadway, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
