New Windsor Town Board received a response from the New York State Department of Transportation [NYSDOT] about a potential traffic study being conducted.

The town had sent a letter to the NYSDOT for a traffic study to be conducted at the Five Corners intersection. The current intersection connects NYS Routes 300, 94 and 32. These intersections have created a high volume of traffic in the local area.

The response from NYSDOT stated that a roundabout or series of roundabouts could be feasible at this intersection. However, a project of this kind is not included in the NYSDOT Capital program.
