Stowaway facility moves forward

The New Windsor Planning Board issued a negative declaration for the proposed Stowaway Self Storage facility at the corner of Little Britain Road (Route 207) and Toleman Road. Conditional final approval was also granted to the project by the planning board. Both motions passed at the planning board meeting Wednesday, April 10.

Conditional approval was granted based on the engineer of the project, Engineer Nicholas Rugnetta of Pietrzak & Pfau Engineering & Surveying, PLLC, working with MHE Engineer Shawn Arnott to address site landscaping, cleanup on application items relating to septic, payment of fees, consolidation of the lots, landscape securities and the stormwater maintenance agreement with New Windsor.

The proposed project, known as “Stowaway Self Storage Expansion” proposes the addition of eight more buildings to the active Stowaway Self Storage facility. This expansion would see an addition of 112,150 square feet to the site. The site is located in the O/LI (Office/Limited Industrial) and operates 24 hours a day for its customers.
